The United States is having money problems. For the first time since 1946, the country owes more money than it makes in a year. The government spends much more money than it collects. President Trump tried to fix this by taxing goods from other countries. These taxes are called tariffs. However, a high court stopped these tariffs. Now, the government is losing money. At the same time, the government wants to spend more money. Trump wants to give 500 billion dollars more to the military. Because of this, the country's debt will grow. In the past, other countries always bought US debt because it felt safe. Now, they are buying less of it. Some people hope that new computer technology, like AI, will help the economy. But if this technology fails, the US money problems will get much worse.
