She stopped drinking completely. Mary said the medicine made her mind quiet. She had space to change her life. She started exercising, eating better, and left a bad relationship. Scientists now think Ozempic could help people with other addictions, like smoking or drugs. The medicine was first made from the venom of a lizard. It works in the brain to lower strong desires. It is not for everyone, but it gives many people hope. Mary said it gave her the chance to ask: what kind of life do I want?
