Can This Zebra See Off His Competition? | Narrated by David Attenborough | Africa | BBC Earth (Level 1)

A large male Grevy’s zebra lives alone on the dry land. He is very heavy and strong. He can go three days without drinking water. This zebra has claimed this land as his home, and he waits a long time for female zebras to visit him. Finally, some females arrive, but they do not stay at first. They want a strong partner. Suddenly, a group of young male zebras appears. They followed the females to the territory. The older male must fight them to keep his home. He chases the young males away one by one. The females watch the fight and see that he is powerful. After he wins the fight, the females decide to stay. The strong male becomes gentle with his new partners.
