Can the Democrats Win the Senate? (Level 1)

In 2024, the Democratic Party lost the US election. Now, they want to win back the Senate in the 2026 midterms. This will be difficult. Currently, the Republicans hold 53 seats, while the Democrats have 47. To take control, the Democrats need to gain four new seats. There are three main steps to their plan. First, they must keep the seats they already own. The most important states for this are Georgia, Michigan, and New Hampshire. Second, they must try to win new seats in states like North Carolina and Maine. Finally, they need to win in difficult places like Texas or Ohio. The party feels hopeful because they have popular candidates running for office. Also, some Republican politicians are fighting with each other. If everything goes right, the Democrats might control the Senate again.
