How F1 drivers survive their own cars (Level 1)

Formula 1 drivers sit in a car, but they train like athletes. Why? Because driving an F1 car is very hard on the body. When the car goes around a corner, the driver's head feels very heavy. It can feel five times its normal weight. So, drivers need very strong necks to keep their heads still. Inside the car, it is extremely hot, sometimes over 50 degrees Celsius. Their heart beats fast for the whole race, which lasts about two hours. They lose a lot of water through sweat, sometimes several pounds. This is dangerous because it makes them tired and slow. Even with training, it is one of the toughest jobs in sports. That is why there are only 20 F1 drivers in the world.
