How Iran is Cashing in on Trump’s War (Level 1)

There is a conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran. Because of this, Iran closed the main part of the Strait of Hormuz. A lot of the world's oil goes through this water. Now, global oil prices are very high. This is good for Iran. Iran is making a lot of money from its own oil. However, it is bad for other countries in the Middle East. They cannot easily export their oil. Recently, Iran let some ships from friendly countries pass. But they must use a new, narrow path between two Iranian islands. Iran is also making these ships pay a fee of two million dollars. Many countries say this fee is illegal. But Iran might make it permanent. Iran might also ask countries to buy the oil using Chinese money instead of US dollars. This could change how the world trades oil.
