Iran has a big problem with money. The country has a lot of oil and gas. It has almost as much oil as Saudi Arabia. This should make Iran very rich. However, the economy is doing very badly. Recently, prices for food and goods have gone up very fast. This is called inflation. The money in Iran is losing its value. Because of this, the government wants to change the currency by removing four zeros from it. There are two main reasons for this problem. First, Iran relies too much on selling oil. When a country only sells oil, other businesses cannot grow. Economists call this "Dutch disease." Second, the government controls most of the money, but it does not manage it well. In the past, Iran sold oil to China to make money. Now, sanctions from other countries make it hard to sell oil. Rich people are moving their money out of Iran. The leaders in Iran might need to talk to the United States to fix these problems.
