How to present your ideas effectively (Level 1)

Some speakers share their ideas by showing them to the audience. This is called a revelation talk. There are three common types. A Wonder Walk shows a series of pictures or amazing moments. Artists and designers often use this style. For example, David Gallo showed glowing sea creatures in his talk. A Dynamic Demo shows new technology or an invention working live. Jeff Hahn demonstrated multi-touch screens, and Michael Pritchard showed a water filter that makes dirty water safe. A Dreamscape shares a vision of the future. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke about his dream of equality, and Sylvia Earle asked people to imagine protected ocean areas. These talks can create wonder, excitement, and hope. Sometimes they even inspire people to act.
