Iran’s "10-Point Plan" Explained (Level 1)

The United States and Iran almost started a big war. US President Donald Trump told Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz. This is an important water path for ships. The US threatened to attack Iran. In response, Iran prepared for war. Right before the deadline, the two countries agreed to stop fighting for two weeks. Trump said Iran will open the water path. He also said the US will look at Iran's new peace plan. However, the two sides do not agree on everything. Iran says ships must follow their rules and pay money to pass. Iran's peace plan asks for a lot. They want the US to stop all attacks, leave the Middle East, and end all money punishments against Iran. If the US agrees to this plan, it will be a big win for Iran.
