Is Trump Trying to Replace the UN? (Level 1)

US President Donald Trump launched a new group called the Board of Peace. He announced this news at a meeting in Davos, Switzerland. At first, the group was created to help rebuild Gaza. Now, it has a bigger goal. It wants to stop fighting and bring order to many places around the world. Donald Trump is the leader, or "chairman," of the board. The rules say he can stay the leader even after he stops being the US President. Countries can join the group by invitation. If a country pays $1 billion, it can get a permanent seat on the board. Some world leaders are worried about this new group. Countries like France and the UK have not joined yet. They think the Board of Peace might hurt the United Nations (UN). However, other countries like Argentina and Hungary said yes. People are watching closely to see if this group becomes powerful.
