Is the US Headed for Strategic Defeat in Iran? (Level 1)

The United States is fighting a war in Iran, but things are not going well. President Donald Trump says the US is winning. However, experts say the US might lose its bigger goals. First, the US wanted a new leader in Iran who would listen to them. Instead, the old leader's son took over. He is very strict and does not want to talk to the US. Second, the US wanted to stop Iran from making dangerous weapons. But Iran is still firing missiles. To stop them completely, the US would need to send soldiers on the ground. This is very dangerous. Finally, the war is causing problems for the whole world. Oil prices are going up. Also, America's friends in the Middle East are angry about the war. Now, the US government wants to end the fighting soon.
