After World War II, Japan promised to never fight in wars again. For many years, Japan did not have a normal army. It also did not sell weapons to other countries. Now, this is changing. Japan is spending a lot more money on its military. It is buying new missiles and making weapons to sell. Why is Japan changing? The world around Japan is becoming dangerous. China, North Korea, and Russia are growing stronger. Japan wants to protect itself. Also, Japan is working with friendly countries.
