Lemurs Make Rock Climbing Look Easy | BBC Earth (Level 1)

Crowned lemurs live in Madagascar. They cross hot mountains to find fruit trees. The sun makes the rocks very hot, so the lemurs move fast. They climb down steep cliffs to reach the cool forest. In the forest, they find food. But they must be careful. A dangerous animal lives there. It is called the fossa. Madagascar does not have lions or dogs. The fossa is a big mongoose. It is the top hunter, and it eats lemurs. Right now, it is mating season. A female fossa sits high up in a tree. She picks a branch that can hold her and one male. If she likes a male, they mate. If she does not like him, she moves to a smaller branch where he cannot reach her. She only mates for a few days every year.
