The United States military has captured Venezuela's leader, Nicolas Maduro. Soldiers took him from the capital city, Caracas, late on Friday night. There were no American injuries during the mission. President Trump calls this a big victory. Many people in Venezuela are happy because life has been hard there for a long time. Now, everyone asks: "What comes next?" The US wants a new leader who likes America. This would help American oil companies work in Venezuela. It could also lower oil prices around the world. Lower prices would hurt countries like Russia and Iran, which are rivals of the US. However, there is a big problem. It is not clear who will lead the country now. Trump does not support the main opposition leader, Maria Corina Machado. He suggested that the Vice President, Delcy Rodriguez, should help. But she refused and said she still supports Maduro. If the situation gets worse, Trump said the US might send more soldiers. He also said that money from Venezuela's oil could pay for the operation. This plan is very risky. Many people around the world might not agree with the US taking control of another country's resources.
