Michio Kaku: How quantum computers could turn the impossible into reality (Level 1)

Digital computers are changing the world, but a new revolution is coming. It is called the quantum computer. These new computers are much faster than the old ones we use today. While old computers use zeros and ones, quantum computers use atoms. This technology can help us in many ways. For example, it can help farmers grow more food by creating better fertilizers. It can also help create clean energy from sea water. This is called fusion energy. Medicine will change too. Doctors can use these computers to find cures for diseases like cancer. They can test medicines on the computer instead of in a lab. Big companies like Google are building these computers now. It is a big race. In the future, scientists will use quantum computers like a carpenter uses a hammer. They will not lose their jobs. They will just become more powerful.
