Pizza Hut was once the biggest pizza company in the world. Families loved to eat inside its famous red-roof restaurants. The company was famous for its thick pizza and stuffed crust. However, times changed. People wanted their food delivered to their homes. Pizza Hut was too slow to change. Another company, Domino's, became the best at delivery. Because of this, Pizza Hut lost money in the United States. Now, its owner, Yum! Brands, is selling the pizza company. A business called LongRange Capital is buying the American part of the company. At the same time, Yum! China is buying the Chinese part. Pizza Hut is still very popular in China. The company changed its menu to please Chinese customers. The new owners paid a lot of money for Pizza Hut. They hope to save the famous pizza brand and make it successful again.
