Super Dad Glass Frog Defends His Eggs From Wasps | 20 Years of Planet Earth II | BBC Earth (Level 1)

A male frog guards eggs on a leaf above a stream. Female frogs visit and leave eggs with him. Some eggs are new; some are almost ready to hatch. A wasp wants to eat the frog eggs. The wasp sees the tadpoles moving inside the eggs. The oldest tadpoles feel danger. They wiggle free and drop into the stream. The youngest eggs cannot hatch yet. The wasps know they are there. But the frog's back looks like the young eggs. This confuses the wasps. The wasps might sting the frog. It is dangerous for him. But he saves most of his young. He must stay and guard for two more weeks. In the jungle, surviving one day is a success.
