Silvana Konermann loved science as a child. Today, she is a top scientist. She wants to cure hard diseases like Alzheimer's and heart disease. These diseases are very complex. Every patient is different, which makes finding a cure very slow. To fix this, Silvana uses three tools. First, she measures the inside of a cell. Second, she uses a special tool to change the cell. Third, she uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to understand the cell. AI can learn human languages. Now, Silvana is teaching AI to learn the language of human cells. Her team will do one billion experiments. They want to build a virtual cell on a computer. This computer model will show exactly how to turn a sick cell into a healthy cell. Silvana is sharing this tool with scientists all over the world. She hopes this new technology will help cure diseases much faster.
