The World Feels Wrong Because You're Paying Attention (Level 1)

Sisyphus was a king in an old Greek story. The gods punished him. He had to roll a big rock up a hill. Every time he reached the top, the rock rolled back down. He had to do this forever. A famous writer named Albert Camus used this story to talk about human life. Sometimes, our lives feel like rolling a big rock. We go to work, clean the house, and pay bills over and over. It can feel like it has no meaning. But Camus said we must imagine Sisyphus is happy. How? By accepting his life. He does not hope for a different life. He just focuses on his task. We can do this too. We can accept our daily work and find joy in the present moment. We do not need a big reason to be happy. We can just be alive and focus on each step.
