The man who would change Russia | The Economist (Level 1)

Andre Melnichenko is a very rich businessman from Russia. He lived outside Russia for a long time. But now he is back. He recently gave a very long interview. This is the first time a businessman like him has spoken so openly. He said the war is not going well for Russia. He believes the government needs help from businessmen like him. He also wants a future where people and businesses have more say. Some people think his words are important because many Russians are unhappy. The war is now affecting their daily lives. However, Ukraine is not sure if this is a real change. The leader of Russia, President Putin, is still in charge. No one knows if things will change soon.
