This New Physics Engine Is 45x Faster! (Level 1)

Creating movies and video games is difficult work. Artists often spend weeks drawing characters and scenes. Moving soft things like hair, fur, or clothes is very hard for computers to understand. If the computer makes a mistake with the math, the picture falls apart, and the artist must fix the video by hand. Fortunately, a new study has found a much better way to do this. This new method uses smart math to control physics. It helps the computer draw hair, trees, and bridges very quickly. In the past, computers were slow because they calculated every small movement one by one. This new way calculates everything at the same time. It is like building a whole wall instantly instead of laying one brick at a time. This makes the video run smoothly. It is perfect for action games, though maybe not for detailed medical science. The best part is that the scientists have shared this code for everyone to use for free.
