We Imagine Godlike Civilizations the Wrong Way (Level 1)

People often think aliens want more space and energy. They imagine big buildings and travel between stars. But maybe really advanced aliens go small, not big. Scientists use the Kardashev scale to measure energy. Type I uses a whole planet. Type II uses a star system. Type III uses a galaxy. But another idea is the Barrow scale. It measures control of very small things. Type 1-minus is like humans before 1900. Type 2-minus means controlling DNA. We already have a tool called CRISPR. An advanced civilization could cure diseases, make better bodies, and change nature. Later types control atoms and nuclei. They could build tiny machines and have almost unlimited energy. At the very end, they could control the smallest parts of reality and maybe make new universes. So old alien civilizations might not be huge. They could be quiet gods of the very small.
