Many people dream of winning the lottery. We think money will solve all our problems. However, a financial advisor who helped winners for ten years says this is not always true. He saw how sudden money changed people’s lives. One man was very happy before he won. He had good friends and a nice community. After he won, his friends became jealous. His family started asking for money. He felt lonely and sad. The money actually ruined his happy life. Another couple used their money differently. They had a young son who was very sick. They used the prize money to fix their house for him. They also stopped working so they could spend every day with him. After 18 months, the money was gone, and sadly, their son passed away. However, they were grateful. They traded their money for precious time and memories. The advisor said this was the best investment he ever saw. Real wealth is having time for the people you love.
