Everyone wants to be happy and healthy. Many young people think that money and fame are the most important goals. However, a famous study from Harvard University found a different answer. This study started in 1938. Researchers watched the lives of 724 men for 75 years. They asked questions about their work, families, and health every year. The researchers learned three big lessons. First, having good relationships is very good for us. Loneliness is dangerous and can make us sick. Second, the quality of our friendships is important. It does not matter how many friends you have. It matters if you have close, warm relationships without too much fighting. Finally, good relationships protect our brains. People who trust their partners usually have better memories when they get old. The study proves that a good life is built with good relationships. It is important to spend time with family and friends instead of just working hard.
