A lawyer had a very big case at the US Supreme Court. He needed to stop the president from making a bad law about money and trade. The lawyer was scared. To prepare, he used four special helpers. First, a sports coach helped him feel brave. Second, an acting teacher showed him how to listen carefully. Third, a meditation teacher taught him how to be calm. Finally, the lawyer used a smart computer program, or AI, named Harvey. Harvey read thousands of old court papers. It guessed the questions the judges would ask. The AI was very helpful, but it was not enough. The lawyer won the case because he could connect with the judges. A computer cannot look a person in the eye and understand their feelings. The lawyer learned that being human is our greatest power.
