Why Milei’s Approval Ratings are Tanking (Level 1)

Javier Milei became the president of Argentina in 2023. At first, he was very popular. People liked his ideas. But now, many people are unhappy with him. His approval rating is very low. Why did this happen? First, the economy is doing badly. Prices are going up fast. This is called inflation. Also, many people cannot find jobs. The country is not making as much money as before. Second, there is a problem with corruption. Milei promised to be an honest leader. However, a news report said he took money in a cryptocurrency scandal. This made voters angry. Finally, people do not like his foreign policy. Milei supports some foreign leaders and countries, but many Argentinians do not agree with his choices. Milei must fix the economy if he wants people to like him again.
