Why No One Wants to Join Trump’s War (Level 1)

The United States and Israel are in a conflict with Iran. Because of this, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz. This is a very important waterway for oil. Now, energy prices are going up around the world. President Donald Trump asked other countries for help. He wants countries like the UK, France, and Japan to send ships. He wants to open the waterway again. However, these countries said no. There are many reasons for this. First, they did not start this war. Second, the war is not popular with their people. Third, countries near Iran, like Saudi Arabia and Qatar, are afraid. If they help the US, Iran might attack them. Iran already attacked some of their oil and gas centers. Instead of fighting, the world wants peace. They want to stop the war so energy and food prices can go down.
