Why the Saudi Economy is In Real Trouble (Level 1)

Saudi Arabia has a big problem with its money. For a long time, the country made most of its money by selling oil. But relying only on oil is bad. Oil prices go up and down. Also, the oil business does not create enough jobs for the growing number of young people in the country. To fix this, the country's leader started a plan called Vision 2030. He wants to make money from new things like tourism and sports instead of just oil. However, this plan costs a lot of money. To pay for it, Saudi Arabia needs to sell oil at a very high price. Now, a war in Iran is making things worse. It is hard for Saudi Arabia to sell its oil safely. The war also makes tourists and businesses afraid to visit. Because of this, Saudi Arabia's big plan for the future is in danger.
